Boiling system


In palm oil factory usually use boiling system of three peaks (Tripple Peak System) with a programmable automation system in accordance with the planned length of time boiling. Time set for the old boiling is 85 minutes. Such a system can be described as follows:




In the manual procedure that must be done to obtain a normal boiling is as follows:
a. 3 minutes; Process deaerasi or disposal of the initial air is trapped.
b. 6 minutes; The inclusion of steam towards the summit I to 2.3 kg/cm2 pressure.
c. 4 minutes; The exhaust from the peak I to the pressure of 0 kg/cm2.
d. 9 minutes; process steam to the peak II revenues up 2.5 kg/cm2 pressure.
e. 4 minutes; The process exhaust from peak II to the pressure of 0 kg/cm2.
f. 15 minutes; process steam to the top third of income until the pressure of 2.8 kg/cm2.
g. 41 minutes; detention process steam at a pressure of 2.8 kg/cm2.
h. 7 minutes; The final disposal of steam until the pressure 0 kg/cm2.

Sterillizer





Sterillizer station is to boil the TBS station to be processed to obtain palm oil or CPO.
The shape of sterillizer is a horizontal tube or vessel with a diameter of 2100 mm and length 36 000 mm. This Sterillizer capacity from 25 to 27.5 tonnes of FFB or 13 lorries.
Quality and number of results if it were an oil palm mill is determined by the success Stew (Sterillizer). Therefore, boiling the fruit must be in accordance with existing provisions and is absolutely necessary.
Boiling objectives are:
- Turning off the enzyme-enzyme to prevent the continuing rise in the FFA.
- Reducing the water content in the fruit.
- Facilitate brondolan janjangan off.
- Soften the fruit to be easily crushed in the digester.
- Facilitate subsequent processes.
Things that affect Boiling:
- Vapor pressure and boiling time
- Disposal of air and condensate waters
